Ran 4.5 miles this morning and ran into some old friends and walked 3 miles with them catching up. My hips and triceps are sore but slowly getting better. Really nice way to start the day!

Finally was able to do the last workout from September I hadn’t done yet: HIIT 35! Anne always comes with a big smile and lots of energy. It was a fun HIIT. My ankle is a little swollen from kickball yesterday so I didn’t jump around as much but I was still able to do the moves.

I did 30-minutes of yoga this morning and played 2 games of charity kickball. I didn’t track kickball on my watch but I played in the rain, ran hard, & laughed a lot. It was fun!

It’s been an “odd” week. I used Monday & Tuesday as rest days. Today I almost didn’t feel like working out but did the barre circuits because I didn’t want to take another day off. It was well worth doing. My body really needed the movement this week. Sharing a photo from today and my run yesterday.

I rested Friday and did the September Waterfall workout while we watched the Hogs game from our back porch. Today I ran 5 miles and walked about 2.5 miles while Amelia and Chandler rode bikes. I love spending all this time outdoors.

I’m getting so giddy for this cooler weather! 4.5 mile run and walked over 2 miles. Here are two photos from my run and 1 photo from my work (doors open for fresh air).

I took Monday off so I did barre today. This is a really great barre workout but then again, I feel they all are! I like the mix of bands and weights. Now sitting out back watching Amelia reach Chandler dance moves. What a fun night.

Keep resting and taking it slow. You’ll be back to your normal routine soon!

Run

4.5 mile run and 2 mile walk. The light misty rain and cooler air felt so good this morning and my run almost felt effortless (in a way). It’s amazing how weather can impact your workout. Beautiful morning for sure
